Alex serves as Partner for NewEdge Family Office, where he provides strategic guidance to ultra high net worth clients, families, and institutions on complex financial and estate planning matters.
Before joining NewEdge, he served as an Advisor as well as being the head of the planning group at Summit Trail Advisors. He brings deep private equity and estate planning expertise, helping clients organize complex data and create customized Estate Planning Roadmaps. Additionally, he was a Partner at Heritage Strategies LLC, advising high net worth families and remains active in philanthropy through UJA, Birthright Israel, and charities impacting children’s cancer. Earlier in his career, Alex co-founded Dearborn Capital Partners, managing over $2.5 billion in notional value of insurance portfolios and worked with major private equity and hedge fund investors.
He obtained a B.A. in Finance and Organization Management from Emory University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and holds Life and Health Insurance, Property and Casualty Insurance, and a Series 7 license.
He currently resides in Locust Valley, NY with his wife and three sons. When he’s not advising clients, he can be found golfing, exercising, and spending time with his family.
